Account information (name, email, phone, address), job details (photos, video, pinned location, square footage, description), payment information (processed by our payment provider, not stored directly by GroundBid), and usage data (pages visited, device/browser type).

2. How We Use Information

To operate the bidding marketplace, match jobs with relevant Providers, process escrow payments and payouts, verify Provider licensing/insurance, communicate updates about jobs and bids, and improve the platform.

3. Information Sharing

Job details and location are shared with Providers eligible to bid on a given job. Payment information is shared with our payment processor to facilitate escrow and payouts. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and job information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements.

5. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements (e.g., records tied to an active or disputed job).

Optional Usage Analytics

GroundBid analytics is off until you choose to allow it. If allowed, we collect limited events such as pages viewed, signup starts, calls-to-action selected, and job-draft starts. Public analytics events do not include names, contact details, account or session tokens, job or provider identifiers, precise addresses, messages, verification documents, or payment information. Marketing and advertising personalization remain disabled.

You can change your decision at any time using the Privacy choices control shown on GroundBid pages. Choosing “No thanks,” withdrawing consent, or enabling Global Privacy Control prevents optional analytics events and removes the browser’s GroundBid analytics identifier.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and payment processing through a PCI-compliant provider.
